What a good time chiller-killer we had a couple weeks ago when this Iowa city crue came through. People that are always amazing to be around, for real.

Kicked the nite off with a tight potluck and made sure everyone was fed before TREETOPS kicked the nite off with some ritual chants and majik blasts. Next up was SECRET ABUSE to rip the paint off the walls and leave our minds back where we came from. A super-surreal EVAN MILLER set was next... like some kinda weird and beautiful underwater fight scene. Also known as the, "National Geographic Guitar Dude" in some circles. Amazing. Sadly, Evan fell ill soon after his set and doctors did all that they could.... KIDDING, but he was sick
But not as sick as BEN HALL killing it solo in the living room. Khris couldn't see him and thought he was tearing apart one of his drums! He was. Figuratively!

After a quick intermission, it was back to tha jamz w/ WET HAIR straight doin his thing! An unexplainable head rush, like I was trapped in a primal opium den and I liked it! Next, NIMBY went all Animal style on his butter-tub drum set. Sounded like Brooklyn hip-hop out the most blown ghettoblaster ya'lls ever heard.

What a HOOT we all had at the Turkish Bath Jan. 9th. Our homeboys/homegirl from NYC were in the building. KING KONG TWINS on the decks. Surprisingly - did not play one black metal record? Then Failing Lights busted a solo gross organ thing. Hands Rendered Useless and Pharmakon played together and we all wondered why they were ever apart. Anamnesis pulsed us into the grave and Redrot ripped us from the soil!!! UNEDITED recordings include hijinks and what not! - We're sorry we forgot to record Diaphragm's set

Beautifully recorded document of a Dec. 17th rager at the Red Room in Kalamazoo. COLLEGE was in full attendance and everyone had an amazing time, except when Charlie played solo at the end to bum out some chicks. We missed Savage Streets and sadly it was there last gig. Hopefully we can dig out the tape of them playing at my old house...
